Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is a Years 5-12 Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition. It was founded in 1891 and is a multicultural school community that celebrates its proud tradition, diversity and strong partnerships with family. CBHS contributes to the holistic development of young men through life-giving education and the promotion of their Christian formation in thought, word and action.
From its foundation, the school was governed by the Christian Brothers and from October, 2007 is governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia.
CBHS seeks to ensure that students, staff and members of our wider community are safe. Additionally, it is our goal to ensure that the impact on our local community from school operations is fair and reasonable.
The CBHS, Lewisham Community Consultative process continues to provide a forum for the school and residents to work together and share ideas in a cooperative and constructive manner.
