Maintenance Officer
Permanent role – 5 days per week.
Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is an independent Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition catering for 1,300 boys from Years 5-12. We understand the unique learning needs of boys and supports each student on their own journey.
A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our community. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out the day to day maintenance and upkeep of the school grounds and equipment.
In this role, you will:
- Provide practical support to the Maintenance Manager with carrying out general maintenance and repairs
- Be responsible for the set up of school events onsite and offsite including but not limited to assemblies, functions and sporting events.
- Maintain the school as a safe environment for staff and students
- Drive the school’s mini bus as required (possessing a LR class licence or higher is desirable)
The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to problem solving including the ability to prioritise, excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
