At CBHS Lewisham we accept enrolments for Years 5, 7 and 11 up to three years before the student is due to start. For the other entry points into other years, if we do not have a vacancy we will provide an application for enrolment form on a “waiting list” basis.
> Step 1
Email email@example.com or call 8585 1744 to request an application form. Please outline which grade and which year you wish your son to commence. Complete form and return to the Enrolment Secretary accompanied by the $80.00 non-refundable application fee no later than the advertised closing date. It is recommended to apply at least 2 years before the intended enrolment. The closing date is the first week in March, the year prior to commencement.

CBHS Lewisham holds Open Days and Discovery Tours. This gives parents who are considering enrolment of their son/s the opportunity to have a conducted tour of the school and its facilities. Please visit Open Days for more information
> Step 3
Interviews for Years 5 and 7 commence eighteen months prior to enrolment and will conclude in March each year. Upon receipt of an application form, parents will be communicated with by the Enrolment Secretary to arrange an appointment with a member of the School Team. For this interview we require that the student wears his current school uniform and at least one parent accompanies their son. Interviews for entry into other years will be conducted at a time appropriate when a position becomes available.

Applicants for Years 5 and 7 will be offered either Enrolment or a Waiting List position. Although an applicant may be offered a Waiting List position, from previous experience not all first round offers are accepted and so there may still be vacancies at some time in the future.
> Step 6
Orientation Days are held in the year prior to commencement. For Year 5 students this day is held in Term 3. For Year 7 students this day is held in early Term 4. During this time the boys will do a diagnostic test to allow us to identify strengths and weaknesses of the group – it is not an enrolment test.

Finally, towards the end of Term 4, parents will receive a letter containing information necessary for commencement of Term I the following year.
Please note continued enrolment is at the discretion of the Principal. An enrolment process will occur from Primary into Junior High School and from Year 10 into Senior High School.

Acceptance of applications from Years 8 to 12 will depend upon satisfactory academic progress in the applicant’s present school, together with appropriate recommendations from teachers at the applicant’s school. Interviews will be held upon receipt of an application.
