Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is an independent Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition catering boys from Years 5-12. You will play a pivotal role in our science faculty by working collaboratively with the team to bring to life the daily classroom activities.

You will be responsible for the organisation of practical activities and experiments in the classroom whilst providing guidance and support to teaching staff. You will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of the laboratory facilities and equipment.

About you

  • Previous experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in an educational environment
  • Suitable qualifications in science or a related discipline
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students and staff.
  • You’re interested in helping meet the educational and wellbeing needs of young men
  • An understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice
