Secondary Teacher – TAS

Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is an independent Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition catering boys from Years 5-12. We understand the unique learning needs of boys and support each student on their own journey. We combine education, spirituality and social justice to develop young men of integrity who will become valued members of the community.

We are looking for someone to join our dedicated TAS department. Ideally, you are qualified to teach Timber and/or Construction. Some who is able to build connections between the curriculum and the classroom through engaging, hands on teaching practice.

About You
• Suitable qualifications to teach TAS (Stages 4-6) including Timber and/or Construction
• Strong knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and the NESA curriculum
• Can demonstrate excellence as a practitioner with an ongoing commitment to your own professional learning
• An understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice
• You’re interested in meeting the educational and wellbeing needs of young men
