Careers Education
Our approach to career education recognises that as a school, we can positively impact upon a young person’s ability to make well informed career decisions and to manage their own career development.

Our Careers Education program not only informs students about the wide range of post-school options available to them, it also equips them with the skills and confidence to build on work and educational opportunities while still at school.
Beginning in Year 9, Careers Education helps students gain awareness in the post-school opportunities available to them. The comprehensive program helps students realise their strengths and interests, and plan relevant skills for their post-school pathway.
The school community has access to our Careers website to assist students make informed choices.
Vocational Education and Training (VET)
As part of our commitment to developing each student’s unique talents, we offer Vocational Education and Training (VET) pathways to prepare boys for their chosen career. School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are also offered as a pathway to combine school studies with a TAFE course and work in the industry during Years 11 and 12. During this time, students complete a traineeship or the first year of an apprenticeship while completing their HSC, advancing their career progression on the completion of schooling.
