The CBHS Music program continues to thrive, providing students with a rich and diverse range of musical opportunities that foster creativity, confidence and excellence. Over the past two weeks, our community has celebrated the remarkable talents of our musicians through the Piano Recital and the Guitar and Strings Recital.

Across two recital sessions, 38 piano students performed an impressive variety of repertoire, showcasing both their developing skills and their passion for music. The following week, audiences enjoyed the Guitar and Strings Recital, featuring the Guitar Ensemble, 14 soloists on guitar, violin, viola and cello, the Concertante Ensemble, and the Chamber Orchestra.

A standout moment was the Chamber Orchestra’s performance alongside students from St Scholastica’s College, Glebe. With more than 25 musicians performing together, the combined orchestra created a truly spectacular sound and demonstrated the power of collaboration through music.

These performances are a testament to the strength of the Music program at CBHS and the dedication of our students and staff. Performing before a live audience requires courage, commitment and focus, and every recital reflects countless hours of practice and perseverance.
