Last Friday, the Class of 2026 marked their graduation with a moving Mass at St Thomas’ Church, celebrated by our school chaplain, Fr Trevor Hird. A highlight of the liturgy was the Ritual of Light, with each student lighting a candle from their homeroom teacher and surrounding the church as a symbol of their faith while the choir sang Christ Be Our Light.

The celebrations continued with a street parade, cheered on by the entire school community, as students and their families walked from the church to the school grounds, led by our Principal, Dr Blowes. The Graduation Awards Assembly followed, with students recognised for their achievements and a number of special guests in attendance, including the Honourable Linda Burney, and the family of esteemed Old Boy, Dr Victor Chang.

In his final address as School Captain, Toby encouraged his year group to “go, holding onto this brotherhood, this discipline, and most importantly, this faith, and become the type of men the world desperately needs.”

A truly fitting farewell to this outstanding group of young men.
