Inspire excellence in education as the Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning at Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham. This is a five-year, Assistant Principal appointment with an ongoing teaching role.
This is a senior leadership role commencing Term 1, 2026, focused on driving whole-school improvement through evidence-based pedagogy and professional growth.
We are looking for a visionary and collaborative leader with a passion for high-impact teaching. You will lead strategic initiatives, build staff capacity, and shape a learning culture that promotes academic success for all students.
About You
- Proven success in leading whole-school teaching and learning initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to improve student outcomes through evidence-based practices
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment across Stages 4–6
- Capacity to analyse data and drive strategic improvement
- Effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive practices and differentiated learning
- Accredited teaching qualifications and relevant leadership experience
