Lead and inspire the next generation of young men as the HSIE Coordinator (History, Geography and Aboriginal Studies) at Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham. This is a three-year, 2-point Coordinator appointment with an ongoing teaching role, commencing in Term 1, 2026.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HSIE Coordinator to lead a faculty of passionate teachers. You will drive high standards of learning and teaching, support academic growth, and foster a culture of collaboration and success within your team.
About You
- Strong expertise in the NSW Syllabus for History, Geography and Aboriginal Studies
- Capacity to design and implement curriculum programs that improve outcomes for students of all abilities
- Demonstrated success as an inspirational classroom practitioner across Stages 4–6 HSIE
- Ability to drive academic improvement and results through evidence-based practice
- Proven leadership skills with the capacity to mentor, support and inspire staff
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and families
- Commitment to ongoing professional learning and formation
