Year 12 Graduation

Our Year 12 Graduation Day on September 19 was a memorable day for the Class of 2025. The celebrations began with Mass at St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Church, with Fr Lewi Barakat speaking about the hopes and aspirations for the boys’ journey ahead. A moving candle ceremony marked a special tradition as the students sung ‘Christ, Be Our Light’ for the last time.

The graduates and their families retraced the historic steps of the Christian Brothers, walking from the church to the school as they did over 130 years ago. Led by a bagpiper, with a student guard of honour and the marching band, it was a truly special moment and a highlight of the day.

The Academic Awards Assembly followed, with academic, co-curricular and vocational achievements recognised, before being presented with their Old Boys tie and officially becoming the newest Lewisham Old Boys!

Special thanks to our guests: Mr Sam Hardjono – EREA NSW Colleges, Board Chair
