Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is seeking an experienced and motivated teacher to join our Mathematics leadership team as Assistant Mathematics Coordinator. This three-year, 1-point Coordinator role includes an ongoing teaching role and begins in Term 1, 2026.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with a genuine passion for Mathematics and a desire to make a positive impact on student learning, with demonstrated leadership experience (or potential as an emerging leader) and a collaborative approach to supporting colleagues and driving excellence in teaching and learning.

About the Role
The Assistant Mathematics Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Mathematics Coordinator to:
- Support the design and implementation of engaging Mathematics programs aligned with NESA requirements and the school’s learning framework.
- Model and promote evidence-based teaching practice that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting Mathematics staff in curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom pedagogy.
- Contribute to faculty planning, administration, and the ongoing development of resources and assessment practices.
- Encourage student engagement and achievement through innovative and inclusive approaches to teaching Mathematics.
