For over 130 years, Christian Brothers Lewisham has been a leading Catholic boys’ school dedicated to excellence in education and the holistic development of young men.
With a strong emphasis on faith, leadership and community, we nurture confident, compassionate young men equipped to thrive in a changing world.
Year 5 is the main intake year at Christian Brothers Lewisham, with five classes enrolled annually. An additional, smaller intake occurs in Year 7, with two classes enrolled each year. Enrolment enquiries for other years, including Year 6, are welcome, however, they are generally only possible when a current student leaves and a place becomes available

Enrolment Dates
2026
Spaces across all cohorts are limited, and placement is dependent on availability. Entry into senior years is also determined by subject selections. To proceed, please email the following documents and details to enrolments@cbhslewisham.nsw.edu.au. Our Enrolments Team will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.

Please note that the Enrolments Office closes during the school holidays. To ensure your son’s enrolment request can be reviewed in a timely manner, we ask that families submit any requests at least two weeks before the end of the term. Requests received after this or during the holidays will be assessed once staff return the following term.
2027
Enrolment applications for 2027 closed on Thursday, 2 April 2026. We are still accepting late applications across all grades, however, they may be placed on a waitlist.

2029 & Beyond
Families considering enrolment for 2029 and beyond can register their son’s details using the Expression of Interest form below. This ensures you stay informed about Open Days and the opening dates for Enrolment Applications for your cohort.
Enrolment Process
1. Complete the Expression of Interest form
This form starts your enrolment journey and ensures you receive updates on key dates, events, and information for your proposed cohort. Submitting an expression of interest can be done at any time from birth onward and is free of charge.
2. An Enrolment Application will be sent to you to complete.
Enrolment Applications are emailed to all families who have completed an Expression of Interest form two years before the student’s proposed commencement date. The enrolment form has a $100 non-refundable fee and does not guarantee placement. The following documentation must be provided with the application:
- Birth Certificate
- Most Recent School Report
- Most Recent NAPLAN Results
- Immunisation records
If applicable, any reports or plans for academic, medical, physical, social or emotional support your son currently receives
3. Invitation to Interview for Enrolment
Once you submit and we review the enrolment forms, you will receive an interview invitation. The interview helps ensure that parents’ expectations and students’ needs align with the school’s values and offerings, and that the school can meet those expectations and needs. However, an interview does not guarantee placement.
4. Enrolment Outcome communicated to family
Successful applicants will receive an Offer of Enrolment, including a non-refundable, non-transferable $750 fee. Once accepted, families will be informed of Orientation dates in Term 2 the year before commencement. Unsuccessful applications will be placed on the waitlist. If space becomes available, they will be prioritised in accordance with our Considerations for Enrolment, as outlined in our Enrolment Policy.
