We are looking for a Primary Teacher to join our school community. This is a permanent, full time position to commence in Term 2, 2026.
We are seeking a skilled & passionate Stage 3 Primary Teacher to join our learning community.
This is an opportunity to work with students at a pivotal stage of their primary schooling, supporting their academic growth, wellbeing and leadership as they prepare for secondary education, within a school grounded in the Edmund Rice charism.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and learning programs for Year 5 or 6 in line with the NSW curriculum
- Foster a structured, inclusive and relational classroom environment that promotes student voice, responsibility and leadership
- Make use of data to inform teaching and personalise learning
- Support students’ social, emotional and spiritual development
- Work collaboratively with stage colleagues, support staff and leadership
- Contribute to the broader life of the school, including pastoral care, co-curricular activities and school events
- Actively support and promote the values of the school
About You
- A commitment to Catholic education and the Edmund Rice charism
- Suitable qualifications and experience in Primary Education
- Effective classroom practice, particularly in upper primary
- A proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A clear understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that uphold safeguarding values in practice
- Passionate in meeting the educational and wellbeing needs of young men
