Aquinas Bursary
CBHS Lewisham has a proud history of academic excellence for over 130 years. Our newly established Aquinas Selective Classes enable us to identify and nurture high-performing students from Year 5 through to their HSC in Year 12.
The Aquinas Senior Bursary is open to students currently not attending CBHS Lewisham who would like to complete their senior studies with us and provides a discount on annual tuition fees. Applications are open to students who have achieved strong academic results at their current school and wish to commence with us to complete their HSC.
This bursary covers the below inclusions and is reviewed on a yearly basis
INCLUSIONS:
- Waiver of Acceptance Fee
- 90% reduction of annual tuition fees and building levy
EXCLUSIONS:
- Enrolment Fee
- School uniform
- Textbooks and stationery
- Laptop and Technology requirements
- Camps, retreats, incursions and excursions
- Other learning resources e.g. timber and art materials for major works
- Transport to and from school
CRITERIA:
As a minimum, the student:
- has satisfactory attendance at his current school as reflected in his latest report
- shows exemplary effort and application to his studies as reflected in his latest report
- has a strong academic record supported by his latest reports and NAPLAN result
- performs strongly in the AllWell test
A limited number of bursaries are offered each year in line with our Enrolment Policy. To apply for the Aquinas Bursary, please complete an Expression of Interest form. If applications outweigh places preference will be given to families who normally could not afford tuition fees.
Whilst our bursary program is only open to new students, any current CBHS Lewisham families who are experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact us via accounts@cbhslewisham.nsw.edu.au or 8585 1744 so our Bursar can discuss options with you.
