2022 HSC Results
Our 2022 HSC results are exceptional and we are very proud of our students and staff for their hard work and commitment. Despite the continuing interruptions to study caused by COVID, the Year 12 cohort took Period 0 classes and virtual learning lessons in their stride and overcame these challenges to record outstanding results. Two of our students were placed in the top 1% of the state, with ATAR’s over 99.0, and 24 students gained an ATAR of over 90. Additionally, there were 43 students who received a Distinguished Achievers Award for a Band 6 score.
TOP ACHIEVER & SCHOOL DUX
Janni Evangelidis was the 2022 Dux, with a ATAR of 99.15; making both the NSW HSC Top Achievers List and the NSW HSC All Rounders List.
ALL ROUNDERS
Marcus Aoun (ATAR 96.7), Angus Buckland (ATAR 98.6), Janni Evangelidis (ATAR 99.15) and Samuel Gotsouliasa (ATAR 98.05) all achieved the NESA All Rounders Awards for scoring the highest band in at least ten units of study.

The school also continued its strong tradition of excellent mathematics results, with all courses well above state average. Legal Studies and Studies of Religion were also highly performing classes. Another positive feature of the results was the combined 360+ Band 6 (90+ marks) and Band 5 (80+ marks) results across all subjects. These top bands made up 43.5% of all results.


2021 HSC Results
The School is very proud of the academic achievements reached by our students each year in the HSC. In 2021, despite all the obstacles our Year 12 cohort faced, with COVID-19 and its resulting lockdowns and virtual classes, our senior students showed great resilience and rose above these difficulties to record excellent results. Three of our students were placed in the top 1% of the state, with ATAR’s over 99.0. In addition, 19 students gained an ATAR of over 90.
TOP ACHIEVER & SCHOOL DUX
Xavier Hassey was the 2021 Dux, with an outstanding ATAR ranking of 99.9. Xavier was 2nd in the state for Chemistry and 6th in the state for Physics.
ALL ROUNDERS
Julian Perin (ATAR 99.6) and Alexander Rigby (ATAR 99.0) achieved the NESA All Rounders Awards for scoring the highest band in at least ten units of study.
