Music Groups and Performance
Students of Christian Brothers’ High School Lewisham are provided a rich and diverse range of musical ensembles and activities. The diverse range of ensembles caters for the musical interests of all students.
Our music opportunities include:
- Concert Band
- Jazz Band
- Vocal Group
- Guitar Ensemble
- Percussion Ensemble
- Music Club
- Liturgy Band
- Primary Training Band
- Primary Kilkenny Choir
- Primary Ukulele/Guitar Ensemble
In addition to these regular ensembles, students have the option to take instrumental tuition. They are also provided the opportunity to participate in larger performance events throughout the school year, such as Soiree evenings which allow students to showcase their talents to their families, friends and the wider community.
Another highlight of the year is our annual band performance evening which features our Concert Band and Jazz Band. Both of these ensembles perform throughout the school year both internally and entertaining the wider community.
All students at Christian Brothers’ High School Lewisham are encouraged to participate in the musical ensembles and opportunities of the school. An extensive Instrument Tuition Program is available for students interested in learning an instrument for the very first time.
